Andrew Engle, Lorain Clearview High School Class of 2019, Valparaiso University
Andrew Engle, class of 2019 Lorain Clearview High School, is a leader in the classroom, on the field, and in his community. He dedicates his time and leadership skills in various capacities including Class President (9th-11th grades), Varsity Football Team Captain, Blue Crew leader, reading group leader, Forensics team leader, National Honor Society, Prom Committee, Powder Puff coach, Mary Lee Tucker volunteer, and Clearview Youth Football mentor. Andrew’s academic goals are to study Exercise Science as a student at Valparaiso University’s innovative Injury Prevention Program and then advance his education by pursuing a master’sdegree in Physical Occupational Therapy. Andrew’s passion for promoting youth literacy inspired him to establish a reading program in partnership with Vincent Elementary School-which he plans to continue at Valparaiso University. Andrew’s career goal is to “have a positive impact on the athletic communities in the areas of physical therapy or athletic training.”
