Jacqueline Kaminski, Elyria High School Class of 2022, Baldwin Wallace University
Jacqueline Kaminski will continue her music journey at Balwin Wallace University as a scholar majoring in Cello Performance. As Senior Class President, Jacqueline was well-rounded and a top performing leader with an impressive list of accomplishments. Jacqueline’s collegiate aspirations are to win a concerto competition and study abroad in preferably London or Austria, continue her graduate studies in cello performance, and join a professional orchestra. Jacqueline lifts as she climbs. As a high school senior, she paid it forward and taught cello students and plans to teach emerging students at her future private studio. Jacqueline appreciates the diversity in music and has learned pieces from a body of diverse composers representing cultures different than her own. Jacqueline explains, “When we allow ourselves to approach new ideas with a mindset of optimism, curiosity, and respect, we can find the most pleasure and understanding among each other. I like to celebrate this diversity, equity, and inclusion through learning and sharing.”
