Emmersyn Nazario, Lorain High School Class of 2024, Kent State University
Emmersyn Nazario will be a scholar in Kent State University’s esteemed Fashion Merchandising program while also studying marketing. A passionate fashion enthusiast, Emmersyn has used fashion as a means of self-expression and aims to inspire Lorain teens to embrace that freedom. Emmersyn shared, “I want to open a consignment shop where the youth of Lorain can try on clothes, talk, discover themselves through fashion, and leave feeling comfortable in their new outfits. My goal is for kids in my community to feel confident and special, because I know how hard that can be sometimes.” Additionally, she dreams of traveling the world to explore her own culture and others, including Puerto Rico, Poland, Africa, Ireland, Mexico, Croatia, the Philippines, and more!
